Securetech 2015 Conference offers Soldier Systems update and presentations on major government contracts.

The Securetech conference will feature: A workshop on the Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract (OCFC2) An update on the DND Consolidated Clothing Contract (C3) Presentations outlining requirements of key users including DND land forces and Search and Rescue.

Securetech 2015 Conference offers Soldier Systems update and presentations on major government contracts.

Securetech 2015, scheduled for November 25-26, 2015 in Ottawa, is fast approaching.  The conference program on the afternoon of Wednesday Nov. 25th features a full agenda relating to textiles and apparel.  

Under the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) banner the Securetech conference will feature a number of speakers from the military, various defense research organizations and other stakeholders  who will speak on many elements related to Soldier Systems and related topics.

Highlights of the PPE Conference include:

  1. A workshop on the Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract (OCFC2) 
  2. An update on the DND Consolidated Clothing Contract (C3)
  3. Presentations outlining requirements of key users including DND land forces and Search and Rescue.

Companies that want to better understand the needs of defence and security buyers and those that want to understand new and updated  procurement processes will want to attend. 

Presenters will also discuss the latest integrated systems for the soldier system and the equivalent for first responders.  The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in collaboration with the Canadian Safety and Security Program (CSSP), will present EMERGE, its wearable technologies for first responders.
