This is a Permanent, Full-time position.
Category: SalesSpecific responsibilities will include:
Build collaborative, open relationships with key customer contacts
Establish a strategic plan for each key account, including mapping the customer’s organization, processes, and needs
Analyze sell-through reports and actively participate in selecting future season customer-specific product ranges
Present new collections and actively drive merchandising discussions with buyers
Lead quarterly business reviews with customers to measure progress against objectives
Champion footwear business within sales team
Coach merchandisers
Requirements:
A University degree or equivalent experience
At least 5-7 years of experience in key account/sales management in the casual and/or active footwear industry
Buying/merchandising/product management experience is preferred
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
Excellent understanding of multi-channel financial models, modern retail dynamics and e-commerce, and the Canadian outdoor and casual footwear marketplace
A belief in the effectiveness of a values-driven sales model
The ability to travel up to 20% within North America
