Weekly inspections of finished goods and in-line activities
Accountable for communication with Vendors in regards to production issues and expediting solutions in timely manner
Assists Production team during Vendor visits with information on WIP, delivery and any immediate issues
Accountable for creating comprehensive reports from daily collected data and timely exchange of results
Inspects all Pre-production Samples from Makers for measurements, construction, materials used, accessories and embroidery, and creates reports.
Inspect garments in production in-house and also at outside contractors.
Inspects all notions & trimmings for color against standard, quality of material & workmanship
Maintains records of all notions & trimmings approvals and standards
Organize and maintain proper filing of all documents
Assist in Year End inventory counting of raw materials & finished goods
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the management
Minimum of 3 years in apparel product development and domestic manufacturing coupled with a minimum of 3 years of quality control experience
College Degree or Diploma in apparel design and manufacturing
Excellent verbal & written skills
Familiar with patterns, cutting, sewing and finishing operations & equipment
Ability to work independently
Must have own vehicle for travel
Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, etc.
Able to make decisions
Must be organized, detailed oriented and capable of multi-tasking
Effective interpersonal skills

Our client is a highly recognized Brand, based in central Toronto. They require an experienced Quality Control Coordinator to join their Toronto team. This position will report to the Q.C. Manager and is responsible for inspecting “in-line” and finished garments, creating and distributing reports, approving all trims, and providing support on fabric approvals and customer returns.
