The Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF) is seeking a Communications Coordinator to work in close collaboration with the Executive Director on a number of digital communications projects/activities.
The communications coordinator will work to ensure that key messages are communicated in plain language with the maximum alignment and coordination among all digital communication resources (linkedIn, twitter, web-site).
The ideal candidate will be a mature communications student/graduate (or equivalent) with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively using multiple digital tools. An interest in fashion/apparel would be an asset.
Tasks will include:
Manage the writing, preparation and layout of the bi-weekly CAF newsletter in the MailChimp platform.
Tasks include: layout, design, research etc.
Identify/locate logos/associated digital materials for various articles.
Use content management software to edit, update content, post news articles and other updates on a regular basis.
Assist production of webinars in GoToWebinar platform - work with presenters, gather info etc..
Prepare promotional materials for CAF webinars (email, LinkedIn)
Assist in saving/archiving of recorded webinars (gotowebinar)
Use LinkedIn and other social media tools to promote CAF
Prepare daily LinkedIn posts highlighting CAF activities, services, etc.
Use ‘Survey Monkey’ software to develop surveys.
Select appropriate question format, monitor survey delivery and reporting
Ability to use MS Office or Google word processing and spreadsheets.
Ability to use Canva and/or Adobe graphic software.
