Featured Story > CAF launches apparel industry COVID-19 resource website
Alongside our industry and government partners, the Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF) has launched a new COVID-19 Resource Centre for the apparel industry. This is a stand-alone website which will act as an industry-specific hub to assist manufacturers and suppliers in navigating the COVID-19 emergency.
CAF continues to work closely with various government and industry partners to assist apparel firms as much as possible during this unprecedented time. It is crucial for us to gather as much information as possible on key issues pertaining to apparel firms, and to make that information easily accessible in one place. Every day, new industry supports and programs are announced. At this point the situation continues to evolve extremely quickly, so it is important that you check back frequently for updates.
Specifically, the website contains a growing list of government and industry resources, industry news, updates and digital events pertaining to COVID-19, as well as various technical resources for firms which have pivoted their operations to help supply essential PPE and medical supplies. Additionally, the Resource Centre will provide frequent updates on CAF’s activities as we continue working hard to support apparel firms now, and as business eventually begins to resume.
Although the outbreak has resulted in significant fallout, these events have shown that companies in the sector are playing an essential role in Canada's fight against COVID-19. The Resource Centre highlights these astounding efforts through its growing Innovations and Contributions page. To add your firm to our list, contact editor@apparel.ca with a brief summary of the work your firm has done.
We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns relating to COVID-19. We continue to work around the clock and are reachable through the Contact Page at any time.
