THE ROLE

As the Product Quality and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for quality assurance, quality control, corporate social responsibility and global regulatory compliance.

On a day-to-day basis, the Product Quality and Compliance Manager will:

Create and implement company standards (RSL, QA/QC, Performance, CSR, and Labeling) for each product category based on industry best practice and global regulations.
Work directly with sourcing, product management, development, factories and suppliers to ensure they understand company requirements and are properly implemented through testing plans.
Monitor ever-changing international regulations and manage the development and implementation of process changes to meet legislation and company standards.
Update cross functional teams on partner non-compliance with company standards, proactively provide solutions, and escalate issues to senior management promptly as required.
Manage 3rd party labs inspection services to monitor social compliance audits, RSL, product quality testing and in-line production quality control.
Receive, review and track all product testing, quality inspections and audits.

Qualifications / Required Skills

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

College or University degree in relevant field preferred.
5-8 years of relevant experience, additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Understanding of accessories and garment construction, production process, fabrics, testing methods, standards, and regulations.
In depth working knowledge of garment and textile manufacturing processes, factory evaluation techniques and vendor compliance requirements.
Proven experience in understanding and implementing quality and compliance processes and systems.
Ability to develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and to communicate clearly across time zones and cultures.
