As a wholesale fashion sales representative for Carmina de Young, you are responsible for opening new accounts to carry the Carmina de Young line in Western Canada. You will be building our brand with a focus on customer service and the goal of building strong relationships with the boutiques that carry the line.
This position is for Western Canada coverage so locations outside of Vancouver will be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivering an organized, efficient and pleasurable Customer Experience
Our customers are busy retailers who need assistance in building their order, which may include but is not limited to creating outfits and mixing and matching pieces to build versatile and boutique-specific / on-brand capsules that maximize sales for Carmina de Young and will create effective visual displays for the retailer and maximize retailer sales.
Effectively represent the Carmina de Young collection both during in-store appointments, showroom appointments, and at trade shows.
Solve problems and answer requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Drive Sales and Deliver Results
Achieve sales goals and build relationships with retailers in Western Canada.
Research and identify retailers who are a good fit with the Carmina de Young brand and make contact to build a relationship.
Build and maintain new and existing relationships with customers.
Highly accountable and comfortable with responsibility.
Be a Team Player
Communicate effectively with the Carmina de Young team on a weekly basis, providing updates on sales and new relationships, and suggesting resolutions to any challenges that may arise.
Assist the Carmina de Young team by representing Carmina de Young at trade shows as required.
Display an assertive communication style; communicates effectively and addresses issues and problems with an open mind.
Comfortable working independently as well as with a team.
Operational Excellence
Ensure all sales policies and procedures are followed.
Provide feedback and suggested improvements to company policies and procedures.
Keep excellent notes on all connections made and communications with retailers.
Detail oriented and organized with ability to prioritize work to achieve self-directed and company directed goals and objectives.
Display a high level of professionalism in your conduct and communication.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
3-5 years wholesale experience necessary
Goal-oriented - able to effectively set and meet goals; motivated by goals set by management and able to understand the objectives and goals for a long-term vision.
Good time management skills and organized
Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to lift (at least) 40 lbs.
Ability to travel and must have own vehicle for travel to retailer sites
Must speak fluent English
